Windows 3.11 PSP Hack

Disclaimer- To my knowledge this hack is not against the law.  Never take steal an .iso and use it to make a profit. NEVER BREAK THE LAW!

Well first download the files

bochs15eboot.rar from mgshl.250free.com

and http://www.hacker.co.il/psp/bochs/bochspsp.zip

and winimage if you ever want to move thing to and from your virtual hard drive.

I'm assuming you guys can get bochspsp on your PSPs using Kxploit or something like that.

Also make sure you have a Windows 3.11 cd-rom.  It only works with Windows 3.11 and only with a cd-rom.  To make a cd-rom from the disks just dump all of the files from the disks into one cd and burn an .iso image.

Extract bochs15eboot.rar and take the zip file Bochs_easy and extract it.  Open the folder and double-click on the file named bximage.exe.  Press enter it will prompt you for a value enter 100 and then enter again to make a virtual drive named c.img.  Open the folder named bochsrc and open the file bochsrc in notepad modify it so that you see the following two line where d: = your cdrom drive.

diskc: file=c.img, cyl=203, heads=16, spt=63

cdromd: dev=\\.\d: , status=inserted

Insert you Windows 3.11 cd into your drive and open the file win95.bat found in the bochssrc directory.  Type fdisk and press enter three times and then esc three times.  Exit the window and open it again.  This time type format c: say yes it will not format your hard drive.  Type x: where x= your cdrom drive and then type "setup". Press enter to install windows and then press c to manually configure it.  When the option is displayed make sure you pick a generic IBM ps/2 mouse not some wacky USB one.  Follow the prompts and it will be installed.  Now comes the fun part.  It took me a shitload of work to make my a.img so I will have it for download.  Its a modified MSDOS 7.10 startup disk.  I know Windows 3.11 only work with DOS 6.22 that's why it took so much work.  Copy the bios files and the ,img files into a directory called VM on your psp and download my bochssrc.bxrc file and also put that in there.

Turn on your PSP go to games open Bochs and wait like 5mins.
